I make

Hi, I'm a first year design student at Victoria University, Wellington, New Zealand.

Above you'll see a photo of one of my most successful projects this year. Which was based on the movement of the shoulder joint.

This was made up of three pieces, two of which were structured and one mobile. I differentiated this piece by a clear gloss on one side of the wood. And used annotation to clearly show the movement.

I would also like to invite you to view more photos from this project and others at Flickr.

Coffee? It's a great way to network with other design students and take a break from the classroom. Try Mojo, Olive, or Caffee L'affare for tasty treat.

I get inspired

Through creating my blog I have made online relationships with many of my class mates.

This has been inspirational as I was able to easily access others work, which was similar to mine, this helped me to use develop my own ideas for this project.

Some great sites where made by Jono, James, and Nay Lin. These blogs all featured simple but very effective ideas.

Commenting by these class mates also gave me encouragement such as this comment left by Nay Lin, ''Very Creative... I like how you got different cups.'' I also found that leaving comments with questions, such as '' i really liked your model, what did you make it with?'' leads people back to my page. And in turn they also leave me a comment. Creating a network.
